How It Works

The A-Able Ace Breaker Tool Kit includes two purpose-built tools:

• Tool #1 removes the hardened center post or "head" in approximately 10 seconds without drilling through the center post.
• Tool #2 guides the drill through the center core of the cylinder.

When drilled approximately 1/2 inch deep, the core can separate from the housing and rotate freely. On many cam locks and screw-type cylinders, the job is complete at that point. Depending on the cylinder design, some applications require both tools, while others can be opened using only the breaker tool with turning pressure applied in the opening direction.
