Control Key, Removal Key, Pull Key... Different Names, Same Function
The Control Key is required for the removal and installation of lock cores. It does not lock or unlock your lock like a regular key. Most locks must be in the unlocked position to remove the lock core. It is also referred to as a Pull Key, Change Key, Core Removal Tool.
The A-ZUM RK CC Control Key is required to remove and install A-ZUM removable lock cores, including A-ZUM CC Lock Core Kits and A-ZUM CC2001–CC3000 lock cores available at EasyKeys.com. This specialized key is designed specifically for A-ZUM CC-series locking systems used in office furniture such as file cabinets, desks, pedestals, and storage units.
Unlike a standard operating key, the control key engages the core retention mechanism, allowing the lock core to be safely released or secured within the lock housing. Most A-ZUM locks must be in the unlocked position before the control key can be used. Without the correct control key, lock cores cannot be removed or installed properly, and attempting to do so may damage the lock or housing.
This RK CC control key is compatible with A-ZUM CC Lock Core Kits (including CC-KD kits) and A-ZUM CC2001–CC3000 lock cores sold by EasyKeys, making it an essential tool for lock replacement, rekeying, and facility security management.
