The Control Key is required for the removal and installation of lock cores. It does not lock or unlock your lock like a regular key. Most locks must be in the unlocked position to remove the lock core. It is also referred to as a Pull Key, Change Key, Core Removal Tool.
The A-ZUM 6SERIES-CK Control Key is a specialized core-removal tool designed exclusively for A-ZUM 6-Series high-security dimple lock cores. This control key is required to install and remove 6SERIES dimple lock cores from compatible A-ZUM drawer, cabinet, desk, and door locks. Unlike standard operating keys, the 6SERIES-CK does not lock or unlock the furniture, and is used only for core installation and removal.
Commonly referred to as a control key, pull key, change key, or core removal tool, the A-ZUM 6SERIES-CK allows facility managers, locksmiths, and maintenance personnel to rekey or upgrade locks without replacing the entire lock housing. The key activates the internal retention mechanism of the 6-Series dimple core, allowing it to be safely removed or installed when the lock is in the proper position.
This control key is only compatible with A-ZUM high-security 6-Series dimple cores and will not operate standard A-ZUM CC-series or ZG-series lock cores. It is an essential accessory for any installation using A-ZUM 6-Series high-security lock systems.
