CompX Timberline Lock Cores

CompX Timberline lock cores are interchangeable, removable lock plugs designed for use with CompX Timberline drawer locks, door locks, cam locks, and office furniture locking systems. They allow facilities to re-key furniture quickly without replacing the entire lock housing, making them ideal for offices, healthcare, education, and commercial environments.

Timberline locks use a two-part system consisting of a lock housing (cylinder body) and a removable lock core (plug). Any compatible Timberline core can snap into a matching housing, providing flexibility and simplified key management.

A proper CompX Timberline Control Key is required to remove or install lock cores. Using the correct control key releases the internal retaining mechanism safely and prevents damage to the lock housing. Attempting to remove a lock core without the correct control key—or using the wrong one—can permanently damage the lock.

All non-stock lock codes are special order, include two keys, and typically ship within 2–3 weeks.
